V60 vs. Chemex: Which Should You Buy First
If you already know you want to get into pour-over but you're stuck deciding between a Hario V60 and a Chemex, you're choosing between the two most recommended drippers in the hobby for good reason. Both make excellent coffee. They just get there differently, and that difference matters more than most buying guides let on. The Short Answer If you want a brighter, more nuanced cup and don't mind a steeper learning curve, get the V60.
